Bobbleton.net is the kind of place you can visit to play and interact with other GNE'ers!

Kallese!Kallese!

Just when I was thinking of closing down bobbleton.net, for reasons everyone is probably aware of, here comes Kallese with a new soundfile!
Thanks, honey!

Posted by: Traducer at November 2, 2004 09:34 PM

That made me cry ;_;

Posted by: capodistria at November 2, 2004 11:21 PM

Liar capo, you just lust after her and wanna impress her with yr sensitivity - we all know you dont got! :)

Posted by: Traducer at November 3, 2004 12:04 PM

I think Mina should keep bobbleton going....

Posted by: Traducer at November 3, 2004 12:08 PM

Trad, am I that transparent? ;)

Posted by: capodistria at November 3, 2004 04:18 PM

Also, I thought you said goodbye already! :)

Posted by: capodistria at November 3, 2004 04:26 PM

Does anyone have screenies/transcripts from the night of shutdown?

Posted by: Kallese at November 4, 2004 07:15 AM

I had said goodbye but since you 'yankees' have voted for 4 years of more institutionalised torture, beatings, imprisonment without trial and for killing more than the 100,000 Iraqi civilians which includes 25-30,000 women & children wot has been killed already (The Lancet)I thought I had better put in an occasional appearance to curb your enthusiasm.... And, I really need an online place to go, Minas pad has a light airy 'feel' that I like :)

Posted by: Traducer at November 4, 2004 12:37 PM

Dang, I had a screenshot of the 28 people that were online when I looked, but I cant find it :(

I have a log and a final screenshot or 2, and yes Kallese has a very sexy voice. I'm glad you haven't disappeared yet Trad. And I did "not" vote for 4 more years of hell.

Posted by: greywolf at November 4, 2004 06:25 PM

I did not vote for those years of hell either. I am surrounded by millions motivated by fear, and not by hope. It is indeed discouraging to be a thoughtful American these days... On the other hand, more people voted *against* a sitting president than ever before, and more people voted for the non-winning candidate than voted *for* any other candidate in American history. So this might be cause for some hope.

It certainly did not help to have GNE die on the same day; some irony in that, eh? I agree that Bobbleton should live on here: will you enable that, dear Mina?

Hey, anybody know if we're going to go ahead with Happy Thingie this year anyway? I'd be up for it.

be well, love you all,
(even though I refused to be St_wart's punching bag any longer and did not visit during the final hours because he was logged in... snif)

Hi ER. Yes the thing that put me off logging in was because Stewart & Eric were there, but for different reasons. They are lying, cheating, thieves. They conned Telefilm into giving them cash for gne, did minimal development, developed their 'commercial' product ie flickr & kept us 'suckers' hanging on to give background colour to the idea it WAS being developed so they didnt get prosecuted.

GNE was a good product, a lot of people would have paid 10-15 a month simply to log-in and chat let alone make gne's & yoink... they didnt/dont recognise its potential at all.

Posted by: Trad at November 5, 2004 09:20 AM

ER ~~ E-mail your snail mail addy to styler [at] gmail [dot] com and she'll add you to the list. I think around the end of November they'll send you your happy person.

Posted by: gatto at November 5, 2004 01:03 PM

I am not really all bitter n twisted :D [I still check the site - just in case] :)

Posted by: Trad at November 5, 2004 01:53 PM

Oh, come one...you're at least twisted ;)

Posted by: capodistria at November 5, 2004 03:40 PM

Ah, u know me too well ;)

Posted by: Trad at November 5, 2004 11:41 PM

the first place i check everyday is gne, just in case!

Posted by: greywolf at November 6, 2004 06:47 AM

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA - i just saw that GNE is no more!
This is so sad!

Will everyone sign my yearbook?

Posted by: helcat at November 7, 2004 06:13 PM

Ah. Since people are getting re-directed here from gne.net, I'll make a new post so that people can connect with others they missed.

Posted by: capodistria at November 7, 2004 10:45 PM

Hello my dears,
I will keep bobbleton.net going for as long as you have use for it. I just wasn't sure if it makes any sense to have a fansite for a game that does not exist, but it seems to be a good place to keep in touch.
I will, however close the older posts for comments. There's too much spam to be deleted every day.

Posted by: Mina at November 8, 2004 02:17 AM

YaY, and if you could load up a chatroom and maybe a map which we could move around on a bit... oh, and add some items too... :)

Posted by: Traducer at November 8, 2004 10:15 PM

Oh, btw. I started hanging out at flickr live (once i found the link on the sitemap) At least I get to chat to friends occasionally. But really what a lot of hype over nothing, there only ever seems to be about 5 people online... "Its Pants"

"Helcat - Most likely to run the USA's biggest chain of casinos and cathouses"

Posted by: Traducer at November 8, 2004 10:18 PM

Trad, I had trouble finding it, too, although eventually I did locate it. If I understood the flashing-past-my-eyes-quickly messages properly, only the flickr users with whom you are already acquainted will show up in your chat windows. Or something.

It would be wonderful to find an alternate chat location. It gives me the creepies to hang out at flickr for very long at a time... Anyone talk with Outis recently, see if he's had any good brainstorming ideas for a non-GNE replacement?

Posted by: ER at November 9, 2004 08:37 AM

GNE, the board game.

would be better than how GNE actually ended, which was more like a 'bored game', HAR HAR HAR HAR HAR.

Anyway, I think it would make a nice board game. And included in every purchase is 10 free airline tickets so that you can get together and play with whom you want!

Posted by: Kallese at November 9, 2004 08:58 AM

I'm for Kallese's game and definitely meeting in r/l.

Posted by: greywolf at November 9, 2004 04:55 PM

grey, I'll be in Palm Coast around Christmas...

Posted by: ER at November 10, 2004 09:12 PM

yay! let me know the dates and I'll see what I can do. Before Christmas will be hard because of work, but maybe after.

Posted by: greywolf at November 11, 2004 07:18 AM

I notice the flickr chat is down too, what is it with Ludihype..

Posted by: Trad at November 12, 2004 10:57 AM

^^^I am so sick of that type of advertising - i considerit a violation of privacy. It would be so nice if laws could be tailored to cover it but when u have politicians too stupid to understand anything but their own political reality is wrong how are they ever going to understand the net & blogging.

Posted by: Traducer at November 14, 2004 11:52 AM

Trad, it is not wise to comment on spam for I will delete those eventually and your comment might look out off place :)

Posted by: Mina at November 15, 2004 02:42 AM

Ah, yes. Good point. Please delete my comment and this one as well :) The problem was I read the flipping poems...

Posted by: Trad at November 15, 2004 08:19 AM

Talking to yourself again, dear?

Posted by: Kallese at November 20, 2004 04:33 PM

mutter, mumble...

Posted by: Trad at November 21, 2004 11:56 PM

Finally, I have the perfect target="_blank">excuse! :)
